I am shipping a stroller (the P3) for the first time and need to find the cheapest way to ship it. I think that UPS might be my best best- the UPS Store can ship it for about $22 but their box is $12 more!

Can I find a cheaper box at a mailing place? Or moving store?

Any suggestions? I am shipping it tomorrow so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Fed Ex Ground is the cheapest way to ship within the U.S., in my experience. Box-wise, try a moving company, a baby store or even a golf store (think golf bag box). $12 for a box is ridiculous - I can get TEN P3 sized boxes at the box company near us for about $17!!

A store that sells them might give the box to you, i.e. rightstart, bru, etc. In general I find the post office much cheaper than UPS store.

Any place is cheaper than the UPS Store since they charge surcharges. But UPS and FedEx Ground (ship directly with them, or Fed Ex through Kinko's for no surcharges) are much cheaper than the post office for shipping a stroller.

I shipped my P3 to Peg via FedEx ground for about $17. I had the original box, though.

Do you have any friends with a P3 that might still have the box?
