I just got this car seat carrier for temporary transport until I can find a long term stroller. It seems pretty secure with the strap tightened but I was unable to have the front bar latch on to the car seat (Graco snugride). Any feedback on use in the real world? I will be using it mainly for shopping errands and on a cement bike path.

It should work well for the places you mentioned. But be aware there is a thread (below somewhere on this forum) with doctor recommending not to use carseat for long period. So use it sparingly for quick errants, but for long walk, get a stroller that can recline fully for baby to lay in.

It's awesome!!! I will be sad to give it up when my little one outgrows her snugride.

This is one of the best things I ever purchased with baby #1. The basket is awesome and I use it when I go grocery shopping instead of the cart.

You'll be pleased with it and I don't think you'll have a problem with it at all.
