I have read and heard how easy the fold is on the Baby Jogger City Series just wondering if it will fit in the back of a minivan (without the seats down).

What kind of a minivan do you have? I'm 99% sure it will fit in both the Odyssey and the Sienna.

We have a Mazda MPV which has a little less trunk space than a Sienna and Odyssey. I need a double that we can put in the trunk. I wanted an all terrain to use anywhere and I wanted the higher weight limit.

Sorry, I can't help with the Mazda. The reason why the Odyssey and Sienna are so roomy is b/c they have that big area where the 3rd row goes when not in use. It's amazing how much more and wider trunk space you get from it.

The Mazda basically does the same thing. The third row folds flat into the back just like the Sienna. We use all three rows now so the third row is rarely folded, but now I am wondering whether I should look at some other doubles that fold more compactly.

I have a town & country, and my MBUD fits in the back without a problem. I've heard the baby jogger is smaller, so you shouldn't have an issue!

If it has that same big "tub" style trunk, you should be fine. I was able to fit in a Kool Stop Lil'Deuce with 20" wheels. the BJCSD folds smaller.

I had always the 3rd row unfolded (i.e in use) b/c I have 3 children. I loved the trunk and still totally miss it.

I've rented Mazda MPV and my car is Dodge Caravan. There is much less space in the back of Mazda MPV; I was shocked how tiny that space is compared to other vans. I would definitely check if it fits before buying if that's an issue for you.

My son has the Mazda MVP and we can fit a 2004 MBUD standing up behind the third seat. The BJCSD folds smaller than the MBUD, so I don't think you will have a problem. The area behind the third seat drops down so it gives a lot of height to put it in standing folded unlike my 2003 Explorer with the third seat which is almost impossible with a double back there.
