I just got an '06 BOB Revolution single on Friday and am loving it! This is the first stroller that DD has named (Bob, of course) and that she has asked to ride in repeatedly.

However, DD is 25m and has a long torso. She currently has about 2" - 3" of room in the BOB up to the canopy.

Anyone have any ideas about how long she will "last" in this stroller (I know, I really need a crystal ball, but am hoping for some guesses here!). How old are your longish-torsoed kids that are still riding in this stroller?

FWIW, she has about the same clearance in our '05 MBUS. Joggingstroller.com said that the BOB and the BJCS single had the same seat/canopy measurement (23" if I recall correctly).

TIA

Melissa

My DD is 4.5 years old and very tall. She's currently 45" tall and has always been at the top of the charts in height. She fits under the canopy of our Duallie still. She does come close to the top, but it doesn't seem to bother her when it's open. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow if that would help you. HTH!

By the way, how does the Revolution compare to the MBUS, in your opinion?
Thanks!

I have a pic of my 7 yr old in the BOB

If you go to "outdoor double strollers" on my web site, you'll see the same kid in a MBUD 6 months earlier (she's the smaller kid in the orange MBUD).

I think the BOB will "fit" longer than the MBs.

That is helpful!

FWIW, at this point we prefer the MBUS. Obviously, if you still need a full recline, the BOB isn't the stroller for you, but if the BOB had been available when I purchased the MBUS, I would have gone with the BOB. I'll try to do a full review on the weekend.

Thanks!
