View Full Version : Looking for Umbrella stroller - European market

I live in Europe so I have a bit more choices in some respects for strollers but when looking for a reclining umbrella it is limited b/c everyone here has huge prams.

This is what I am looking for:
recline to almost flat if possible (for baby 6mths plus)
umbrella fold
really good push, one handed a plus
good sun visor (hard to find I know)
doesn't tip with a bag on back and no child in stroller
lightweight

I love Macs (I have a Volo for my 4 yr old) but the tipping is a pain so I am hesitant to get the Techno which would otherwise fit the bill. I have looked at the Jane Energy online and the Ziko (?) and the Inglesina Trip as well and am considering them too. Not crazy about the Ziko front wheels (same as the Inglesina Urbe - which I don't like). The Trip and Jane are the best prices. I have a Pliko Lite but not crazy about the bulk when folded so it will go and this will be the replacement.

Can anyone offer me a suggestion? This stroller will get a daily beating as I will be walking my 4 yr old to school and will put the baby in the stroller. Lots of cobblestones. It will also do a lot of international air travel so it must clean up well too and be sturdy.

If you've read this far I'd love some ideas!
Thanks,
Andrea W :)
