how to use a carrycot?

I'm looking into buying an MBUD for my newborn and 4 year old. I'd like to know how /if you secure the newborn into the carrycot? Does it have a safety harness, or do you just lay the baby in like you would in a bassinet?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I have an MBUS carrycot. There is no way to secure the infant. You just need to be more cautious once DC is able to sit up but might not be ready for the seat yet. I loved having the carrycot. DD was so much happier and more comfortable in that than friends' children were in their car seats. Caveat: I think the quality of the finishing on the carrycot sun shade could be better. One side or the other was always sliding up over the edge of the bassinet. (Maybe this problem is unique to mine?)
