Okay, so I bought the stroller for my trip to Italy, P3 is too heavy and not as practical but after spending $120 on the Triumph I don't want it to get destroyed or lost either.
Has anyone travelled with this stroller before? I'll be checking it at the gate and do not have a stroller bag.

Any suggestions ladies?

Thanks!!!

My $99 Volo has lived through a few flights and trips in the last 4 years, I'm sure the Triumph would be fine. You can get a travel bag for a few bucks, but gate checking is usually pretty gentle on strollers.

This past spring, I specifically bought a Triumph for dh to take on a cruise and to Italy & Spain with ds. He gate checked the stroller on the way back and the only damage done was a small slice to the foam on the handle. It was a good thing he had it too, because ds didn't deal with the jetlag very well, lol. But things that got checked were lost, like our carseat, while all the gate check stuff was just fine.
