I need something that is the lightest weight possible (but more sturdy than a cheapy umbrella). I have arthritis in my spine, so lightweight (no more than 11-12lbs.) is the most important thing. I also need the handles to not be too short. It seems like the Volo might be the right fit since Macs are so easy to steer (also important). Lastly, I live in FL, so I need the hood to be decent. What do you think?
I am totally open to suggestions of other lightweight strollers.
TIA!

The Volo is light, with reasonably high handles (I'm 5'9"), and is easy to steer. However, I wouldn't say the hood is decent. Its an OK hood and probably about as good as you'll get in a super-lightweight stroller.

The volo is great for an ultra-lightweight. However, there is no recline and the hood is pitiful IMO. For a recline I would recommend going up a notch to the triumph which also has a sucky hood. You can add a rayshade for about $15, though, to make for a better shade, and then you should be good with either of those. The triumph weighs about 11 lbs, so it is still lightweight. It just has a more padded seat (compared to the mesh of the volo) and the option of a recline.
