Yep, it's true. It's in my 2007 Review, too. It's the Maclaren XLR. It will also hold a child up to 65 pounds. The stroller itself weighs about 20 pounds.

Will they have a Twin Techno that accepts a carseat?

Hmm, I don't recall that. I will have to go read the review to double-check, lol! The thing is, you have to make the seat wider to fit the car seat--hence the Techno XLR is bigger and heavier than the Techno XT. That is also why the Peg Aria Twin will accept the car seat on one side. They divided the space into 60-40, rather than the traditional 50-50 seats on a SBS.

Magic Beans in Brookline MA has an XLR on display. I guess right now it is only in 1 color but will be available in more.

Yes, the new XLR does accept carseats (most brands). I saw it at the ABC Kids Expo and it looks great. They do not have a twin one at this time.

Yes, the XLR accepts car seats, only the Graco, Britax and Pegs. Its out now and comes only in Carbon (black) for now. They are $399, so a pretty hefty price tag.

SQ? You said it takes more weight, but the manual still says 55lbs? It wound be great if it took more though! :) Did Maclaren tell you that? Just comfirming! :)

Hmmm. Dmart is selling the carbon XLR for $329 and they mention the 65 lb. weight capacity.

Yes, I noticed that as well. We did change the weight limit on our sign to say 65lbs because after checking our website thats what it said. However, I dont get the price either. Dmart is on Mac authorized dealers and they shouldnt be selling it for less than the retail price. Im going to check it out some more today when I get to work.
