I just did a coast-to-coast red-eye flight with my three and a half year old and I decided I need to get a Volo before I do it again at Christmas.

I like the colors of the 2005 better, but what are the changes for the 2006?

She's too heavy for my Silver Cross Micro, and too tall for the Zapp (and it's too hard to travel with) so I assume the Volo is my best choice?

I *think* the main differences are:

1. type of wheels (smooth, hockey-puck-like wheels)
2. inclusion of the hood in the stroller

I'm looking for a volo too. I think babycenter has them on sale right now, and there's some coupons floating around too!

Also, I looked at the Swift IRL and think that's a great alternative b/c:
1. it reclines
2. it has bigger wheels
3. has suspension

However, I'm not sure whether or not it has a shoulder strap.

hth!

what is the weight limit on the swift? I tried her in a Volo and I know it pushes easily with her in it.

The 05 volo has a black hood and mesh seat. The 06 volo has a silver hood and and the top part of the seat (where your kid's head would be) is solid, not mesh. I prefer the black hood only because when the stroller is folded the wheels touch the canopy. It gets the black hood a little dusty but you don't see dirt, with the silver hood I bet it gets pretty dirty! We love our volo!
