And I need a new double. I left it outside my door to bring the baby inside and then it was gone! It was a 2002 and showing signs of age, so I guess I should look on the bright side and be excited to finally get a new stroller. I'm still hoping my urgent pleas to the neighborhood and police will bring my MB back. It was bright red and I think I'll see it being pushed around the area. Not too many MB's around here; I suspect my MB was stolen by a crack head, homeless guy, etc.

I've looked at the cost of replacing with another MB but this BJ City Series intrigues me. Will it fit through a doorway like a MB? Does it have a foot bar across the front (my 6 yo sits on when she''s tired).

Here are my specifics:
3 tall kids, ages 1, 4, 6
needs to fit through a door way
mostly neighborhood walking; occasionally jogging
city streets- sidewalks, uneven pavement, cobblestones, etc.
good storage underneath for farmers market, shopping, etc.

Thanks!

ahhh, you poor thing. Right off your front door? Imagine that! Can't help you with the BJCS, but just want to say that I loved my Terrain double and still enjoy my Urban double.

Hope you find a suitable one to replace yours soon.

Thanks for understanding. As much as I hate having a stroller stolen, at least it's fun buying a new one.

How much different is the Urban than the Terrain? I ask because I get the sense the BJCS is like an Urban, but not as great. I am wondering if the BJCS would be an improvement over the Terrain. I found a black 2006 for $449; that's $200 less than the MBUD. The thing I hated about the Terrain was that you had to pop a wheelie to turn a corner.

Thanks. Kristan

Well, if you hate popping the front wheel, then fix-wheel strollers/joggers are out then, lol.

The Urban is great with the swivel wheels. It moves like butter! It is nice for older kids (like mine - 5 and 7 yrs old) when they get heavier and popping the wheels are tiresome in crowded places.

That totally stinks - I can't help with the replacement, but I'm curious as to where you live, because the same kind of thing happens in my urban Philly neighborhood as well!

Urban St. Louis, Missouri. We've lived "in the city" for 10 years and this is our first experience with theft. I guess it's more fun to replace an old stroller than replace a car window or something like that.
