After just spending a small fortune on a Britax Blvd, Dreamer Design Jogger, and about to buy a highchair, DH has given me a strict budget on a new stroller. Previously had the Graco stroller frame with Snugride, but 5 month DS is a few weeks away from outgrowing the Snugride, so we need yet another stroller. I obsessed so much over the first one I ended up just getting the Snap & Go frame b/c I couldn't decide... but now the day is approaching and I'm once again stroller obsessed! But this time around I'm on a (gasp) budget!! Looking for a lightweight, easy-to-handle stroller to be used for daily errands and mall crawling. If anyone has a good recommendation under $200 I would so appreciate it!

Join the Yahoo group strollerswap - there will be so many choices, your head will spin! The P3 and the Zippy are two good places to start looking (I wouldn't go with a Quest for a babe that young, but that's just me - my kids aren't happy in Macs that young).

Yeah, I wouldn't do a Mac for a mall crawler either. A good/excellent used P3 (or if you can wait even a month or 2 until you absolutely need it the P3's will start being clearanced out and you can get a new one for around $200ish, I'd bet- I just snagged one on Amazon recently for $199 during a 1-day sale for a 2006 P3). Another good option would be a zooper waltz- make sure it is a 2006- it has a single handlebar, legrest, takes a carseat, giant canopy, good basket, no snack tray if that's important to you though, and can be found for less than $200 most anywhere. IMO the problems with the inglesinas (zippy or espresso) is that the seatback doesn't sit bolt upright, so your kid might not like that- mine doesn't.

Whoops, I got hung up on 'errands' rather than 'mall crawling' which are rather different pursuits, lol.

Neeeeever mind me ;)
