Recs for umbrella stroller, less than $100, for 2 year old?

If I can't replace the basket on my 6 year old Pliko (another post), I will need a new stroller. I don't know if I can live without a basket!

Anyway, any recs for an umbrella folding stroller for less than $100? I have a 2 year old, so I would imagine using the stroller for another year or year and a half. This my last child, so I don't want to spend a lot of $$. I like the compact fold of an umbrella, but it doesn't have to be the lightest stroller on the planet (we don't travel much). It will stay in the trunk, mostly for mall and other shopping.

Boy or girl? There's a 2005 Mac Volo in some shade of pink at www.albeebaby.com for well under 100, and my kids used our volo happily for long days out till age 5 :) (There's some boyish 2006 colors, though...and something called the Baby Thyme for $50, I don't know about the quality of that, but it *looks* nice)

I emailed them yesterday, and I'll try calling tomorrow if I don't hear from them. I just thought that I'd have all of my ducks in a row. A friend also suggested trying to find an after market add on basket, so I'll try that, too.

I have the chicco C5 and I love it! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller, but nice stroller. I paid around $89 for it as well.

You should be able to get a basket from peg no problem. I was able to order a basket for a 2002 stroller from them without any issues, and the pliko was not redesigned to the P3 until 2003 I think, so the baskets should still be available!

If you like the macs check out tjmaxx & marshalls or Costco.

Tjmaxx/marshalls has the mac triumph in blue/yellow for $89. I found one and snatched up but need to return it.

Some Costcos have the Ryder for $99. (I decided this is more suitable so I’m having one shipped to me so I’m returning the triumph).

Takes some digging, but the price is worth it. I had to go to 4 diff stores to find it.
