Hi everyone,
I have just started looking for a double, and am finding it difficult to find what I am looking for. I have not been thrilled with my main single stroller (a 2004 Combi that I got new off Ebay b/c it would take the Snugride, as opposed to the 2005, the year my DS was born). I picked up a 2001? Combi at a consignment sale that I prefer, but it is so old that it is not folding well anymore. The reason I like it compared to the newer Combi, is that it has substantial soft rubber wheels, and a cupholder for me as well as for DS. It also has a large basket.
I don't know much about brands, or side-by-side versus tandem, but I do know I want a large basket, nice rubber or air-filled tires, not plastic!, cupholders all around (kids and mommy), and a substantial basket. My DS will be 27 mos. when the new baby comes.
