Best age to start using jogging stroller

My husband and I just purchased a BOB SUS...

Wondering if anyone uses these strollers and knows when the best age is to start the kids in them. The instructions say not to run with the baby until they are 8 months old. We were wondering if it was necessary to wait that long. It looks like fun to use!

Yes, you can't run with babies until they have good head and neck control, or you risk "Shaken Baby Syndrome." You can walk at a brisk pace on a smooth surface, as long as the stroller has a deep recline, and large enough wheels or suspension to cushion the bumps.
