I just received an email from peg perego customer service about the new aria twin. According to the email the 2007 aria twin does not take ANY car seats. this was the email:
'We apologize for the confusion, however the 2007 Aria Twin will NOT
accommodate any car seat.'

So I'm not sure where we all learned that the new one takes car seat but I guess it doesn't. At least it takes it out of the running for me.
