I've looked at the website and read posts, but I just don't get it yet -

when you have a newborn and a toddler, who sits where? I'm considering getting this for small spaces, the mall, etc, if I can pick up a good deal on the e3, but I'm having trouble visualizing how they layout goes with a newborn and toddler. If the newborn is reclined in the main seat, doesn't it get in the way of the back seat?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm clueless. I've only seen pics of them being used with two older kids.

When using the newborn/ toddler mode, the toddler seat attaches above the main seat. Here is a link to an Amazon review with photo of how this setup works. HTH!

When you click on the link, it's the picture on the bottom right side.

Ah! Thank you!!! I've never seen it set up like that IRL nor have I seen a pic of that set up.

So in order to use the toddler seat in the back, you wait till baby is sitting up on her own around 6 mo, I'm guessing?

MY Neighbor has an E3 and in the beginning the baby is reclined in the regualr seat and the toddler seat is up front kind of over the top of the regular seat. She hasn't used it the other way yet but she sat her 4 month old up in the regular seat yesterday and he was so happy! I am sure I'll see him riding in the rear seat soon enough. I guess when you switch it they say to put the heavier child in the reg. seat and the lighter one in the add on! It is a neat stroller... I am not sure it would have worked for us though. My newborns never liked being in the stroller that much.... if they started crying and my older one was on top in the add on seat you would have to remove the seat to get baby out.... I guess it depends on the baby/kids! My other question is what happens when both kids are still stroller nappers... can't recline the baby in the rear seat and can't recline the older one in the main seat if the rear seat is on!!! It a cool concept none the less!
