I live on the beach and am hoping to buy a stroller that can go through soft sand. I've heard the bugaboo works as does BOB's SUV model but am hoping someone has direct experience.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'd be tempted to go with a mountain buggy terrain...almost no steel to rust on that aluminum frame, and it's a 'simple' stroller...no bells and whistles to worry about so it's easy to spray down with the hose and dries fast when you get home. Strollerqueen likes it on the beach, if I remember correctly (she might pop in and tell us :) )

Here I am! I live near a soft sand beach, too. I prefer 20" fixed wheels, and most specifically, the Kool Stride Sr. w/ alloy wheels. I talk more about it on strollerqueen.com under "Hit the Beach" on the SQ Obstacle Course page.

Good to know! (I'm nowhere near a beach right now, boo hoo!)
