We have managed to toddler proof practically everything in our house, but the one thing we cannot seem to lock is the drawer under our oven. Conventional baby locks don't work since it is metal and they can't be installed. Neither do appliance latches. (He just rips them right off). We took everything out of the drawer a long, long time ago. But DS likes to pull the drawer out and smash our toes while we are cooking, and he stands on the drawer when the burners are hot. We only use the back burners, but he's not that far from reaching them. He seems to obey us when we tell him not to go in other things that are not locked, but he refuses to listen to us about the oven drawer. Any suggestions?

After thinking about this, I guess the only thing left to do would be to place some type of wedge under the bottom of the door against the floor. Like maybe out of sanded wood. It's have to be pretty tight under there, but that might work.
