I saw special mesh liner that is supposed to go around the perimeter of the crib in a catalog and can't find it now and think I need it. My DD is pulling herself up and throwing her pacifiers and bear out of the crib, for fun, but still needs them to go back to sleep. I think this would prevent it.

Is this what you're looking for?

It's expensive, just over $100. I thought I saw another one (very similar) by a website who makes nothing else other than this products. The site was called creative products or something like that, but I can't find it now. Please let us know if you end up using this, I've wondered about it myself.

Just found a few other sites:
http://www.perfectlysafe.com/perfectlysafe/26200-liner.html ($99)

Okay, here's the deal, it's called Safe -n- Secure Crib liner. Made by Tender Creations. Here's their website
http://www.tendercreations.com/
where they list where you can buy the product. But if you just do a search on Crib liner or Safe-n-Secure crib liner, you'll find it's available on a lot of babyproofing sites. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yes, this is what I was looking for. I thought I had seen it in One Step Ahead or Right Start catalog, but looked it up online in both places but not there. When I did a search all I got was nets to keep cats out. I guess it requires taking down the bumpers to use it, but I suppose I would have to do that anyway, now that dd is climbing.

Has anyone used this product? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of it.

It seems like waste to me, unless your child is accidentally loosing her pacifier and bear. I know that my DD just stands in the crib and throws things over the top. If your child is throwing the toys, then they will quickly learn to do the same.

I haven't seen her do it, I am just assuming it is accidental. I don't know if she's throwing them over the top, or through the slats...the pacifiers can definitely fit through the slats. She's not quite standing, has only done it once, usually gets on one knee and trying to push up with the other leg, when I find her. The only alternative I've seen is the crib-tent to prevent climbing out of the crib, but we don't have that problem. DD sleeps in a sleep-sack/European style sleeping bag, so I don't think she'll have enough moving-around leverage to actually climb out.

If anyone has this product and uses it, I'd love to hear what you think of it. Thanks.
