Has anyone used the Kiddy Guard Gate by Infantino?

We have to gate the bottom of our stairs and were interested in the Kiddy Guard gate because it retracts like a window shade rather than swing out like other gates (you can view it on the One Step Ahead website. A swing out gate wouldn't work for us because it would swing right into a traffic area and not against a wall.

Has anyone used this gate or seen it at someone's house? Any information would be helpful!

We got the Kiddy Guard from One step ahead, and we like it a lot. It's not easy to open /close with one hand, but the retracting feature is lot more important to us.

The quality is good. The material is strong, and it has worked very well for our baby. He likes to push against the gate, but that's about all he can do. Just remember to put the Kiddy Guard on all the time. That should always be the FIRST thing you do when you come downstairs!!

BTW, the Kiddy Guard could be noisy when it retracts. But you can avoid the noise by just pushing the button while it retracts. Hope this helps!
