I'm posting this for a friend. She's looking for a bathtub faucet lock. Her faucet has two knobs, one for hot one for cold. They are large round "crystal-like" knobs. The standard faucet locks don't fit. Any advice?

I was on the hunt for these a few months ago, as my son was turning on the water and dumping everything into the tub as it filled. Such fun.

I was told by EVERY baby store/hardware store/home improvement store that locks for the "crystal-like" knobs don't exist, so my options were to:
1. Remove the knobs (makes using the tub impossible)
2. Replace the knobs with something smaller that the locks will fit on (didn't really find much that would work)
3. Jerry-rig something together to prevent the knobs from being easily turned on.

My hubby, the engineer, took some OJ containers and rigged up a solution to prevent the knobs from being turned, but would still enable the adults to use the tub (after removing the "solution"). It looks really bad (thank goodness no one else uses that tub), but it works.
