Looking for a child-safe television stand

DH and I watch very little TV, but we think it might be beneficial for DS to be able to watch some kids' videos. Hence we are looking for a stand that will securely support a 20 inch TV and a DVD/VCR, and be attachable to the wall somehow.

Has anyone tried the Step 2 video center? Any other solutions?

We purchased an unfinished corner tv stand. It is made of solid wood and stands about 3 ft high. It keeps the tv high enough that DD can not mess with the controls or finger up the screen. It securely holds are 32" tv that weighs about 300lbs. It has cut outs for a dvd and vcr player. It also has 2 large doors that I use to hide DD's larger toys.
