Best place to buy baby gates

We're off to buy some baby gates soon, and I was just wondering where everyone has found the best selection and prices on gates. I'd prefer a retail location versus a website, because I don't what to have to pay for oversize shipping nor wait for them to arrive, but if you've found a great deal on a site, feel free to mention it too.

I found that local places were the best; once you factored in shipping (and a more difficult return), it wasn't worth it to buy online.

Babies R Us and Baby Depot have decent selections of gates (that's where we got all of ours), but don't rule out pet stores - Petsmart and Petco both carry a few different kinds of gates too.
