Anyone out there have a Thermador cook top with the knobs in the front?

What did you use to cover the knobs as they are too big for the standard knob covers at BRU.

The knobs should come right off - that's what we do with our gas range, and just store the knobs on the counter where Colin can't reach them.

I tried to get the knobs off and they would not come off.
