Cabinet locks?

Do you still use Tot Loks on cabinets that have knobs? We just moved into a new home where all the cabinets have knobs on the outside. In our previous home, none of the cabinets had handles or knobs, so we really had no choice but to use the tot loks. I was happy with how they worked but not so happy about having to drill into the cabinets to install them. It also seemed that over time, using the magnetic key was wearing away at the finish on my cabinets. You could see a dull spot on the cabinet where we had used the magent numerous times, and you could see some of the finish from the cabinet on the magnet key. Are there any options that seem to work as well on cabinets?
