I just wanted to give out a three cheers vote for Naptime Productions. I placed an announcement order last Wednesday, sent a not so great of quality photo taken with a digital camera and hoped for the best. I just got my order today and I'm really impressed! You can check them out at naptimecards.com

Ive posted on them before...have used them three times - two birth announcements and one holiday card, and I cant say enough for their quality, service, and price. Absolutely the best baby purchase I made!

I did baby announcements somewhere else, but I just used Naptime for wedding shower invitations with a photo on them, and they turned out beautifully!

Thanks for posting this. I, too, had dd's announcements done by them...they were soooooooooooo wonderful. Customer Service was extraordinary, and we rec'd so many nice compliments. I agree with pp that it was the best purchase we've made. If God blesses us with another child, we'll use Naptime again, no question! :)

I'm trying to plan ahead for announcements--what are these like? (These may be a really dumb questions...) Are they shiny? What weight paper are they on?

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

What do you mean by shiny? The weight of the cardstock is what I would call medium -- not as flimsy as something you'd find at a Xpedx, but not as thick as a Crane's, Encore Studios or William Arthur announcement. I don't know the exact weight number. The waxed vellum is the lighterweight waxed vellum. We got the organza ribbon, which is very lightweight and diaphanous. The satin ribbon is a little stiffer and shinier. The printing is done with a laser printer, so it's flat (not thermographed).

Another Naptime Productions satisifed customer here!

I think she's referring to whether the announcements are glossy or matte.

We have some extras of DS's announcement from Naptime Productions. I'd be happy to send it to you as an example if you would like. Just private message me with your address if you're interested.

We had our announcements doen through Naptime Productions and I LOVED them! We got so many compliments on them. Also, there was a small problem with our order originally and the sales rep that called me was so sweet and knowledgeable...she helped me make decsions in my sleep-deprived state! I would use them again in an instant.
