Hi, I was wondering if anyone has feedback on ordering digital prints from Sony's Imagestation web service. We usually have our 4x6 prints done at Meijer, but wanted a better source for enlargements. I read a good review in a Time magazine article, but wondered if anyone here had used the service.

I did find an old post from 2002 where a user was happy with them, but hoped for more recent experience.

Here's the web site: http://www.imagestation.com/

Thanks in advance!

Well, in case anyone considers using Imagestation, here is some feedback...

We ordered about a dozen 4x6 prints.

The good:
* The prints arrived quickly and the shipping cost was reasonable.
* Their everyday prices are comparable to Meijer or Walmart, although I don't think you get a break for over 100 prints.
* They have sales of 20% off pretty often and send email notices.

The bad:
* Their web site interface is kind of frustrating. I think it's supposed to be streamlined, but I didn't like it and neither did DH.
* All of the pictures were green-shifted. We didn't use their automatic color-adjust feature, but the original images are not greenish, and we printed the same batch on a home printer, and they look fine.
* As far as I can tell, you can only order the smaller prints in glossy finish.
