Hello! ~ Not sure if this is the right forum to post on, but I'll give it a shot. Can anyone recommend a website or software for creating your own website?...a website about your children? I currently use Siteblast and I'm satisfied overall, but there are a few things I'm limited on. Being that we have a baby on the way, I'd like to start re-creating what we have.

I searched high & low, but I found something wrong with every program I found -- too complicated, too expensive, not better than what I use, too business-like -- so I hope someone can help!

TIA!

I had little website design experience, and I have zero html skills. I used Homestead to make a personal site. It's quite easy to use. I think I pay $9.95/month for a basic site. I use Shutterfly to host my photos and just link them to my homestead site. http://www.homestead.com/

Pros:
Page-building tool AND hosting included

Cons:
Software is only PC compatible. Cannot use with Mac (which was a huge bummer when i got a Mac!)

I hope someone else can add more info as I'd like to know what the other options are.

Congrats on the Bun!

Thanks for the congrats, and for the response!

Although I didn't get too many ideas here, I continued my search and since found 2 websites that seem like they will meet my needs (many options, easy to use, & reasonably priced), and thought I'd pass them along:

www.ownspot.com
www.moonfruit.com

I've decided to use moonfruit.com and, if anyone is interested, I can let you know how it went.
