I like many of the products BabyCatalog.com carries as well as the prices. But, it appears that while BabyCatalog.com was recommended, their registry was not (per the book) due to customer complaints. I was disappointed about the lack of specifics - does anyone know if complaints were due to the unfriendly registry interface or due to lack of timely updates when registry items were purchased or both, other reasons?

Has anyone had recent experience with the BabyCatalog.com registry?
Would using a 3rd party registry site (like felicite.com or whattoget.com suggested in early postings) mitigate the challenges with the site?

I didn't have any problems with the registry, but then most folks didn't choose to purchase gifts for us from that site. I don't know about the other ones.

We too registered with Baby Catalog. I was marginally impressed with their service. Their registry was OK but I expected more. I actually found the registry at our local baby store easier to use and the staff was more friendly. Best of luck.
