I just spoke with PP Customer Service in Ontario today. Yes, they will honor the US PP warranty if you choose to purchase a P3 in the US. Yes, they ARE supplying a car seat strap as standard "included" equipment on the '05 P3s. However, some of the early shipments did not include the strap. If you purchase one that does not include the strap, PP will send you one for free.

As to colors, the complete color lineup is available here, including Cherry Cola which appears to be out of stock in most of the US stores. The colors are Newport, Blu Moon, Black Sable, Cherry Cola, Safari, Metallica, Oasis and Hip Hop. Of course, not all stores will carry all colors.

I called a couple of baby stores in the Vancouver BC area and they are already selling the '05s. The classico version sells here for $369Cdn + tax (14% here) and the Completo (with the foot muff) sell for $469 + tax. And no, you cannot buy the foot muff separately later on -- you can apparently only buy it with the set. (But that is coming from a store, perhaps PP CS would sell it as a "part"??)

If you know anyone who wants to get a good deal on a Plikomatic, I gotta sell mine so I can get a new P3, LOL! :)

HTH someone.

I think PP Canada will sell the footmuff separately, but you may have to wait for it to arrive from Italy (12 weeks). I say that because i just emailed PP about turning a P3 into a Pramette (which is too expensive to be worth it and doesn't work with the P3 canopy attachment) and they said the footmuff on the Pramette could be purchased for I think 83 Canadian dollars. I think but am not sure that the footmuff for the Pramette is the same as for the Completo.

I bought the 2005 in December from Safetysuperstore in Mississauga. The Canadian Peg do not come with the universal car seat adapter like they do in the states. Thus, I called peg in the states and had them ship one to a relative (I lied and said I bought my peg in the states) for free.

PP CS told me that the early 2005's shipped without the infant seat straps, but that they will be standard equipment on the '05s that ship later. I'm just passing along what the CS person at Peg told me. She also said that if you purchase an '05 that comes without the straps, Canadian PP CS will also ship you one for free. Again, I'm just passing along what she told me.

HTH
