I just ordered some Hannas. My girlfriend in the states is going to bring them up here for me when she visits.

I was just wondering, if I did ship them here, and marked them as a gift, do you still have to pay duty and taxes?

What are your experiences with duties and taxes on Hannas?

Thanks in advance!

Actually, Hanna Andersson is one of the few sites that calculates taxes and duty right on the site when you ship to Canada. I have shipped a few packages and have never had a problem with them. They calculate duty and taxes right at check-out, so you know the "damage" before you commit.

I have never shipped any other way, but I imagine you will have the same rules apply as any other US purchase - anything under $75 CDN and "GIFT" is duty free.

Hope that helps,
