Okay, I am having withdrawal symptoms... I haven't gotten a new stroller in over a year (yes, I realize that isn't a horribly long time, but for a recovering stroller-a-holic it seems like eternity!).

I have no idea what is available here in the Great White North that wasn't here last time I looked. My current line-up...

1) Maclaren Twin Traveller - we bought it for travel (as the name implies, LOL) but hardly used it given the age spread of DS1 and DS2. It will likely get used more with DC3.

2) Quinny Zapp - the most underutilized of the bunch. I still can't get the fold figured out quickly so it doesn't work too well for quick trips and it lacks a lot of things that I like (i.e. basket) and is tippy so not much use for the mall.

3) Bebecar Unibig - this is the most used and abused and most loved of the bunch. My first good stroller. I love it! It is getting a bit beat up because we take it to the mall, the zoo, etc.

4) Kelty Joyrider 20" - this one is used for hikes, walks in the snow - my SUV stroller.

5) Maclaren Concorde - I lurrrvvveee this stroller, but its days are numbered as the brakes tend to engage at random. I would give anything to replace it or at least track down a second set of skins to make my Twin Traveller into a gorgeous Citrus Plaid frankenstroller.

6) Bebecar (the name escapes me) - it is a pram style stroller with turning wheels. Same great quality as the Unibig but bigger and beefier. The seat reverses so I can take a baby for a walk and actually get some face time. Very plush, but underutilised now that DS2 prefers to face away. Will get more use with a baby.

So there it is... I am not lacking much, LOL. I have the Zapp and Unibig for indoor stuff; the Kelty and other Bebecar for outdoor stuff and the Twin Traveller for a double. I don't need anything else and DS2 will want out sooner rather than later (he is a go, go, go kid unlike DS1). I might be game for selling off a couple and buying something else (pondering the Phil and Ted's E3).

What is fun, functional or on sale here in Canada that I should look into?

Thanks,

Wow, you have a lovely stable. Now how about a Chariot?

YEah where is your Chariot girl?! I loooove mine! I have the Cougar 2.

I am debating getting a Joovy Caboose on orange but I will probably pass. It is a sit and stand and I think the weight limits are too low for my kiddos :(

Let me know what/if you find anything!

Oh I am loving the new P3 colours! Mine is navy blue :(

You know you want a Rock Star :)

Are you mainly looking for something to take the place of the Bebecar?

Can I third the Chariot? I am totally getting one if we have another little person ...

Once the baby is sitting up, I'd get a P3/Zippy/Chicco C1 for the toddler step.

Do you think you would use an all-terrain double stroller? You could go with a Chariot trailer with various kits or put a buggy board/kiddy board on your Bebecar or Kelty. The Chariot is really only useful if you think DS#2 will ride.

If you want something not yet sold in the US with a toddler step, how about a P3 Pramette?

Thanks all!

I like the Chariot, but made the "mistake" of buying a bike trailer years ago from the Bargain Finder (Winchester brand). Not a bad trailer for the sadly limited use it gets. I have a Buggy Board/Kiddy Board (can never remember which one) but DS1 never got the hang of it and I never felt secure with him on there so I doubt it would get better with DS2. I like the idea of the Pramette since I was looking at the P3s but like the ablility to face baby. Truly what I should have done is sold the Joyrider and Bebecar pram and bought a P&T E3V2 when I had DS2. Alternatively, I could sell the Zapp and buy something lightweight but a bit easier to fold. As a final idea, I could look at the Jane Powertwin instead of the Twin Traveller. We will be going to San Diego in December...

I am keeping my eyes open for anything new and exciting - I think it comes down to this being the last baby so I want to treat myself to something fun as I won't have the chance in a few years.

Well, if DC#3 is a girl, how about a pink stroller??

I've heard the PT has low seatbacks for larger toddlers.

If you think your DS#2 would ride, what about a BJCSD or a BOB Revolution Duallie ('07s will have an almost full recline, in stores in December)?
