have been searching online and can't seem to find a coherent answer.
i am trying to buy a $210 (incl shipping) textbook from amazon.ca that is $50 cheaper than amazon.com. I am trying to figure out how much I will have to pay for customs from canada to the US. anyone know how this works? I am very confused since most of the websites talk more about shipping from the us to canada and not vice versa.
The shipping is "Standard International Shipping"
Thanks in advance!!!

I think if shipping is from Canada to the US, then any applicable duties, customs, taxes would be determined by the US and not Canada as the good is coming into the US. Text book might be exempt, but I'm not 100% sure though.

that would be my guess as Canada determines duty for stuff I get from US.
