Hi,

My 10 1/2 month old DD is long and pretty thin. I have a terrible time finding pants that are long enough without falling off her butt! Gap is too wide, Gymboree too wide (and, oh yeah, their prices are RIDICULOUS), Children's Place is so-so.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Both my kids have this same problem since they thinned out after around 9-10 months old. The other problem is that they are tall or long legged, so I have to buy pants long enough (especially for cold seasons) but then they would be too wide at the waist. So for the longest time, I put them in overalls or pants with elastic waistband and fold the waistband down. That seemed to work.

I relished the day they were old enough to be able to buy pants with the adjustable waist, kwim? They are now 6 and almost 8 yrs old and still have to wear pants, skirts, skorts, etc. with the adjustable waist.

Hope that helps.
