Thanks ladies!

Avery was born on Aug 21 and is doing really well. She has already put on some weight since the last check-up (you can really tell by the extra chin and chubby cheeks, lol).

The older kids are all over her and think she is the greatest thing since slice bread. My ds who is 6 yrs old one day thanked me for 'laying' Avery, LOL. He always makes sure that I would let him know when she finishes 'milking' so he can play with her, LOL.

I'm actually using a FP Stay-in-View infant carseat. It's a great seat and light. But I have not been carting her around in the carseat since I find that I sling her in my Hotsling more these days.

Thanks again for the congrats! Newborns totally rock!

Yeah, you should! Mine older 2 are close to one another in age (21 months apart), so they didn't know anything about babies and such. They grew up together, kwim?

This time around, they are older and totally curious about the pregnancy, participated in the 3D ultrasound, picking the baby's name, etc. and the experience is totally different for dh and I to have them enjoying Avery's arrival. I recommend it ;-)

Well, if dh and I can do it now, then anyone can. We took our time and only got out of our comfort zone NOW because I said I didn't think it I wanted to have another baby when I was 40 (time is ticking, LOL)!!!

So, go for it.
