yup, looks like jack has the flu. originally ped thught RSV because he didn't look "sick" enough. but continued fevers, acting worse, and documented case in his daycare room. he's never been so cranky!

Poor Jack! We've managed to avoid the flu thus far but Lola was rip roarin' sick for fourteen days over Xmas/Hanukah and New Years. I had the same crud for ten days and it totally sucked. When we went to the doc's office and asked if it could be flu, they said she'd be even sicker with the flu. I couldn't even imagine.

I hope Jack gets better soon and the you and DH stay well so the Florence Nightengale duties don't become that much harder.

Oh Shannon that stinks. I am so sorry Jack is sick. Hard enough to get through residency and taking care of other sickies. Awful when its your own. Hugs to both of you. I hope you manage to stay healthy and that he is feeling better in no time.

thanks, everyone. we've been puzzled the last day or two because his fever is gone and his cough is better but he is getting fussier and eating worse... of course, he has a big ol' swollen gum! poor kid can't get a break.
