The Good Humor Truck

disrupts my baby's nap every day. The jingle is way too loud. More importantly it's only 4 PM and most of the local kids are at the pool so it's a complete waste. I might have to have a word with the ice cream man but he'll probably think I'm insane.

This is not important in the scheme of thing but this is two days of very short napping= a cranky baby.

The day we brought Isaac home from the hospital, we put him in his crib for the first time for a nap. (He's been a good sleeper right from the start.)

Less than ten minutes later, one of the multitude of ice cream trucks that pass through this neighbourhood went by, with its loud, off-key music, and woke him up and scared the little guy. :( (He's learned to sleep through them since then -- fortunately, since up to six of them go buy each day!)
