DH SHAVED Truman's head last night!!!

Argh!! I took Eleanor to Acute Care last night (thought she had an ear infection, but she didn't, thank goodness!), and came home to find a bald 2 year old! I have no idea what DH was thinking! He was buzzing his own, and decided to do Truman's as well. Apparently he forgot that I had made an appointment to have the kids' pictures done.

Yikes. It is truly horrible. I will be rescheduling pictures.

Anyone know how long it will take a bald head to grow out?

However, I'm sure he'll look adorable in a cute hat :) Why don't you just do that and go ahead with the pictures? It might take a while for it to grow to a decent length (not sure how long).

Go head and get the pictures made. Years from now you will be able to look back on the pictures and continue laught at what your husband did to DS.

OMG! I would kill DH if he ever did that! I don't know how long it will take to grow out, but hopefully fast! How does Truman like it?!

Sorry, I don't know how long to grow out. Hopefully not very long. If it was just JC Penney type pics, I'd probably go ahead and do it just to capture the time that Truman was bald. Anna was absolutely horrible for her 9 mo pics and I hardly bought any. At the time I was upset about it, but now I kind of like looking back on them. They certainly capture her differently than her other pics do.

I hope there's a nice box of something for you tonight. If not move DH's pillow to the basement.

If that were my DH he'd be lucky to be alive. Just a few weeks ago when I was all hormonal and couldn't see straight I thought DH had given Declan his first haircut. And I lost it on him. Even though I was wrong thank goodness - I don't think my DH will ever get Declan's haircut without okaying it with me first.

Hope Truman's hair grows back quickly. And that your DH does something extra special for you.

It takes a good month at least to grow back IME but it depends on the kid. I would be pretty upset!!

Okay, it was worth it. :) DH has been giving me a hard time about spending money since I quit my job. However, the mileage I've gotten out of this haircut includes a shopping trip to the Twin Cities!!

Did I miss posts about you quitting your job? If I remember correctly, you had posted that things at your job were miserable. If I am remembering correctly, I'm so happy you were able to get out of that! Hope you are enjoying being at home!

Yes! I lasted about a month and then DH and I realized it was truly in the best interest of our family for me to leave. I'm still looking (sort of :) ) for a job, but am really, really enjoying having some time at home. It's great to be able to witness ALL of DD's "firsts".
