If I have to watch the World Poker Tour ONE more time, I'm gonna lose it.

Seriously, is anyone else's husband as sucked into this thing as mine is? He's turned into a poker zombie! Ahhh!

Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy a good game of poker...just not 24 hours a day!!! Grr...

Husband? No, it's ME that loves it!! :) I only wish that I could figure out when it's an original show and when it's a repeat. I hate watching it for half an hour and then realizing I've already seen this episode!

First DH watched it if nothing else was on.. now, he is always watching it!! I don't mind about 5 mintues of celebrity poker, but that's about it. But it really doesn't matter much in our home: DH is always watching TV at night and I'm always online (mostly on these boards) :) Ah, what did I do before the internet??? :)

Hey don't knock it. I got hooked on WSOP and WPT. I Tivo it now mostly so that I can watch it when DW is not around. I played my first home game with some friends who have been playing poker for years. We each put $10 in at the beginning of the night and I came home with $40. Watching poker on TV can be fun and educational. :)

OK, I admit it was probably beginner's luck and the fact that the other players didn't know how to "read" me yet.

My husband went to Biloxi for a Bach. Week-end (don't even get me started on that) and came home hooked! He watches it on TV all the time, but now he has moved on to playing on the computer... FOR MONEY!!! BTW, we are not in the position for him to be playing with 200-300 dollars and LOOSING it! That's a whole 'nother story!

I hear ya! He's started playing online too! In fact, he's playing right now on his laptop in our bedroom. He's the financial tight-wad of the family, so I think he'll be responsible about it. Famous last words!!! :)
