UGH!...I Hate These Holidays With Fireworks!

It's only the FIRST of July and there is someone in our neighborhood shooting off fireworks! Normally, this kind of thing doesn't bother me. However, ever since having DD, it drives me nuts. Because of where her room is located in our house, the sound bounces off the house next door and echoes into her room. It doesn't matter where they are coming from, this happens. She always wakes up several times when these things are going off. I use an air filter in her room and I put it on medium (high is just too loud) and it does help a bit, but she still hears them. Makes for a very cranky DD and, therefore, Mommy the next day.

I know this will go on all weekend and Tuesday night will just suck! x(

I feel your pain...but it bothers me more than DS since he's a heavy sleeper.
