1) The ability to snap to full consciousness from a *dead sleep* at any sound that is vaguely similar to DS's voice (including, but not limited to, an errant nose whistle from a congested DH as he is snoring and suffering from seasonal allergies).

2) A clairvoyance that allows me to know the whereabouts of all shoes/sunglasses/toiletries and other ephemera around the house, to the point that no one even bothers to look for anything anymore. They just ask me and expect a correct answer.

3) A synergistic relationship with DS (much like Elliot and E.T., if you will) that guarantees that a) DS will wake up within five to ten minutes of me regardless of the time of day, leaving me no quiet morning time; or b) DS will have to go to the bathroom at the same time that I do, forcing me to either finish up prematurely or do a modified potty dance until it is my turn.

*Sigh*

If you figure out how to get rid of them please let me know... I have a few I would like to get rid of.

Thanks for the giggle and I hope that you find your 'cure' soon.

You lucky duck! That happened once a few months ago, where I had enough time to have breakfast, read the sales flyers in the Sunday paper, and start to watch a DVD, but then I got nervous and checked on DS, inadvertently waking him up. DOH!
