This made me LOL. It's finally cooler here in Chicago - but the heat is back tomorrow. It's been nice to open the windows and turn off the air tonight - but I'm sure it'll be back on tomorrow. Stay cool.

Oh Alicia,

I can relate. Yesterday was Day 5 of no sleep for me. DH likes to keep the thermostat at 80 degrees. Being 8 months pregnant this feels like 100 to me.

As I drip w/sweat I realize I can't sleep. I fell asleep for 3 hours from 6 am to 9 am today. ARGH!

That's just not enough. I feel delirious right now. Hang in there.

You think you are hot. It was out from yesterday afternoon to this morning and the house still has not cooled off!

Um, in my house I went with "I'm pregnant, I win". I'd hand you DH extra blankets, move the thermostat at least as low as 74, then put a fan two feet away. I hope you get some sleep.

Oh, all my sympathies to you. It's tough being pregnant in summer.
I lived in San Diego when I was pregnant and I had the AC and three fans on all thru the night in August. DH slept in his tracks huddled under a comforter :) And normally, I'm always cold.
Hope you find some ways to cool off soon.

I can relate. Summer 2004, I was pregnant and nauseated 24 hours a day. We had 3 hurricanes in 2 months and lost power every time. It sucked! I even had hotel reservations at one point because I told DH that if the power didn't come back on very soon, we were leaving town!

You must live in Orlando. Thank god I wasn't pregnant then but I did get to take my GREs with only getting the power back at 3 that morning, a migrane headache and some very good drugs. The computer screen was swimming the entire first hour of the test. If only the center hadn't gotten their power back yet.
