View Full Version : Why does DS sleep better for other people?!

When anyone else puts DS down for a nap, DH or the babysitter, he sleeps for 3 hours without a peep. When it's me, I'm lucky if he sleeps 90 mins. I know even this is more than some kiddos, but why don't I get the 3 hour break to get something done!

I had to laugh when I read your post! As you yourself pointed out, some of us only get 45 minute naps out of our DC's! Count yourself lucky :)

Same here -- when DH is home on weekends, he'll sometimes do 2 hours. With me, just an hour. I don't think DH believes me :)

I know it's a petty whine, but I KNOW he can go longer, and he just won't!

And I know I should count my lucky stars that he does sleep at all.

I know! DS slept overnight at my sister's house on Saturday night and slept all night without a problem. How come he never does that for me?

Yeah, I know how you feel. DS naps at daycare, at MIL's and I am lucky if he naps at all over the week-end. At least on those days that he does not nap, he goes to bed earlier in the evening. While I miss DS during the week I still need a break so now my solution is to eather read to him or have DH take him out to the playground by himself.
