eBay/PBK curiousity driving me nuts!!

I like to think of myself as a great bargain hunter. But it is driving me nuts trying to determine where sellers find items like the $700 Pottery Barn Kids Retro Kitchen set?? They are selling it for the same asking price as PBK, so they must be getting it at a big discount or it wouldn't be worth the hassle (shipping, packaging, etc.). I've never seen the sent in a PBK outlet and if an employee is buying them and reselling on eBay I would assume they would get fired. At the very least I can't imagine they could get away with buying more than one set. WHERE DO THEY COME FROM???

There is a Pottery Barn outlet about an hour from us. I have not been but I've been told that eBay-ers have the place staked out when new shipments come in and that you never know what will show up. Someone I know goes to that outlet a lot and they seem to get kids' stuff that is mentioned on these boards, like the book rack that hangs on walls and shows the covers of books.
