So, today is my birthday... we had no plans today so I take DS to our favorite mall to walk around and go play trains. We get to the mall, find parking, and go in only to find some crazy career fair or something for the public middle school kids - thousands of them! Ugh! It is mad chaos there - I should have just left, but I don't so DS and I do our best to avoid being walked into, etc. Okay, we're dealing with it and then we escape into Barnes&Noble to play trains and read books and enjoy a bit of our morning. Since the mall is so crowded, I decide to skip our lunch out and just take us home. Well, I'm leaving the mall and get rear-ended! UGH! Thankfully we are both okay - as are the woman and her baby who hit us, but I can't help but still feel bad for myself as I spend the rest of my birthday on the phone with the insurance company...UGH, UGH, UGH! I'm not leaving the house again until my birthday is over!
