I know this isn't the biggest problem, but I just ordered a mattress (after much angst and hand-wringing). I was expecting it within 2 weeks. Almost immediately, I get a notice saying they are out of stock and back ordered and that it will HOPEFULLY be shipped in about 3 weeks (to arrive in about 4 weeks). They have already charged my credit card! Am I just spoiled by Amazon & other e-tailers that tell me that an item is out of stock so that I don't get my hopes up and/or don't charge me for the product until it is actually shipped? Or does everyone else do business like Baby Catalog? GRR!
