The smell of it is permeating my nostrils.

DD has issues so it takes her a while to poop. She's been using it for a delay tactic the last two days. If it's time for her to sleep, she miraculously has to poop except she doesn't. I've changed poopy diapers, cleaned poopy potties. I'm sick of smelling it already!

I'm *so* sick of poop.

I hate the "I need to go poo-poo" stall tactic. Aaarrrggghhhh! How can you argue with that?!? DD mainly uses it to try to get out of taking a bath. She's terrified of pooping in the tub. Not that I'd look forward to it, or anything, but it happens and you deal with it. Wish us luck washing her hair tonight.

Ya know, there's something to be said for a short, descriptive, to the point title. Nice job.

Thanks for the commiseration! I'm starting to give her mineral oil every couple of days. My problem is remembering it but she won't drink the prune juice anymore which was a little easier.

At any rate, thanks again!

Flax seed oil works pretty well too. I did that once for DS, and he pooped within the hour!

ETA: Another tip that I got from a mother of two is getting pull-ups type diapers. When she says she has to poop, just let her wear one of those and do her business. Eventually, she'll kick the pull-ups habit and go like she's supposed to, and the diapers are a stopgap to preserve your sanity in the meantime.

HTH!
