Winkflash never printed my order and it's already 12/11

I'm so annoyed right now. I ordered my christmas cards on Dec 1 through Winkflash for the first time thinking that it was cheaper. Well I've been calling them and asking them if the order was going to process soon. Each time they would say that it was going to be process within 48 hours. Well finally after 3 calls (of which I've had to be on hold for 15 minutes each), I get an email stating that they just couldn't fulfill my order. No reason why but they were unable to print it and therefore would refund my account. Now it's already 12/11 and I'm stressed out about getting these cards in time.

Oh gosh. I'm sorry that happened to you. It happened to me once but it was just for prints--no deadline involved for me.

I ordered mine on the 5th and they arrived today. I already had the envelopes stamped and addressed so for the first time in all my years my cards are *DONE*.

I found PEPhoto had $.18 5x7's. I ordered a couple of proofs but they never showed. They're located in NY so if you're near there, they have b/m locations to pick up at. Also Snapfish has $.39 5x7's through Costco.

I did Costco pre-done cards and they were ready in 2 days. I'm not sure about 5x7 cards, but I think they have a similar turn around time.

That's really annoying about winkflash - did they offer anything as compensation - coupons etc.

I'm sure you can get them done in time. Have the envelopes ready to go, so as soon as they're printed you can just pop them in the mail.

Oh my goodness!!! I ordered mine around the 6th. I haven't heard anything yet, but I guess I should think about a backup plan.

They didn't offer anything in terms of compensation. They just apologize for not being able to print out the order and that they will credit my credit card. I think I'll try to Costco route because at least I can just pick it up. Wish me luck.

Yes! I learned the hard way a couple of years ago w/ these cheaper photo sites. In my case, it was club photo that screwed me. I ordered many copies (I think it was 30 or 40) of 1 4x6 photo (was just going to send them out w/ my cards). It was not even a card, just a photo!! Ordered weeks in advance, should have been plenty of time. Meanwhile, they never shipped my photos to me til Dec 23! Let me tell you, I was livid!

Now I only order from Shutterfly. The couple of cents less per print at other less reputable sites is just not worth it. Unfortunately, some of these places just suck. Sorry you had it happen to you. Luckily, you should have enough time to still be able to work something out elsewhere. BTDT, and I really feel for you. Good luck!

Oh man, I considered buying from them for price, but ultimately liked the Kodak layout better. You'd still have time to order if you did it right now. If you preprinted all your address labels you could get them out as soon as you get them?

ETA: BTW, I've never had a major prob with either Snapfish or Kodak easyshare, but both can take a week or so to get out to the east coast. I think the Costco idea is good for you at this point. And I believe Costco's don't come with envelopes, so you could have that part all done ahead of time.
