Losing another pediatrician

I just found out today that our pediatrician is going to be moving the end of December. UGH!!! I finally found one who I liked and trusted and felt like I could trust after a long year of searching. Our old pediatrician who we loved dropped our insurance last Dec. and most of the good doctors in the Austin area have dropped BCBS as well. Our original plan was to switch during open season so we could go back to our old pediatrician but we decided not to switch insurance since we had finally found a doctor we liked. Ugh...now open season has ended and we are stuck again. The worst part is that this always happens during cold and flu season. :(

That stinks. Who is he referring his patients too? Hopefully it is someone you can work with until open season. I fear the day I have to look for a new ped.
